We will meet at SplatSpace on Sundays from 6-8PM alongside the Software Sunday meetup. Craft night is open to everyone, but minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We can move into another room if needed.
Agenda
- Start the meeting with short introductions
- Show & Tell: talk about or show things you've worked on, found, or want to work on
- Mention upcoming events and workshops in the area that may be of interest
- Discuss the meeting times and locations
- Discuss craft ideas for future meetings
- Work on crafts
Meeting Times and Locations
- Is 6-8PM on Sunday a good time to meet for everyone?
- Would meeting every other Sunday be enough or too much? We could add additional meetings when we're working on a big projects.
- Possibly meet the first Sunday at Splat Space, with a project/workshop planned
- 3rd Sundays at Splat Space for freeform nights
- Do we want to have workshops at other studios?
- Decide which member(s) will host the meetings
- People hosting the meeting need to:
- Have a key to Splat Space to unlock the door
- Arrive at least 20 minutes early to open the room and put the signs on the door
- Have a cell phone, as a backup in case the Splat Space phone is not working
- Make sure the room is cleaned up after the meeting
