  • The Museum of Life and Sciences is having a Cardboard Challenge event from 9/23 - 9/27. I am talking to them about building a large cardboard arch and possibly some other displays. Please ask if anyone is interested in helping with this. I will also be posting this to the Google group on Wednesday after my meeting at the museum.
  • I am concerned about moving if the rent increases. I am open to the possibility of being in the Scrap Exchange building, as long as the rent is about the same and we take precautions to prevent our members from getting carried away, etc in the Scrap Exchange space.

    • I feel the proposed rent schedule at Lakewood is not a great option. I would not be in favor of moving there. I feel we have to look at our past issues with membership and keep the procedures we've talked about (mentoring, not signing up unknown people right away, keys given out, etc) in place. We don't want to be in a position where we're so desperate to make the rent that we let the safeguards fall by the wayside.
