It's been a long time dream of mine to put together a MAME cabinet. Preference would be to find a old broken cabinet either vertical or tabletop and install computer, display and either new or repurposed controllers.

What reminded me of this project again was an awesome bar in Knoxville called Fort Sanders Yacht Club. They have an incredible selection of working vintage arcade games. Definitely check it out if you are ever in Knoxville.

Even more exciting might be the Winnitron 1000 especially with Joystick Labs being over in American Tobacco Campus.
