However, within a week it was squashed together by folks into one word because of websites, applications, registrations and so forth. Some of those original members liked the camel-case version, and thus was born "SplatSpace". A few of the original members in emails and early correspondence and on the new wiki's were trying to introduce "Splat*Space" as the spelling to put the wildcard and logo in the middle of the name; however noone else used that form -- ever.
