Consent Agenda

Should use of tools be limited to "Members Only" or to non-members with CLOSE member supervision and after signing the waiver?

  • Close supervision means teh member is working with the non-member on the device
    • We'll need the waiver separate from the Membership Agreement
    • This will need to be posted.

Explanation of waiver by Shaw.

Final wording: To use the Splatspace equipment, we require that a non-member have signed the waiver with 2 co-signers and are closely supervised by a Splatspace member during their use of the equipment.

No objections; PASSED.

    • Scott would like us to order these supplies:
    • .015" (26ga) 1/2 lbs fine 60/40 easy wet solder (MCM #21-1106, $20)
    • .028" (22ga) 1 lbs medium 60/40 easy wet solder (MCM #21-2280, $32)

  • Treasurer Moves to Discontinue Ordering of Velleman Products until we establish clear bookkeeping procedures
    • We do not have/have not had accurate and transparent bookkeeping for Velleman products and other new supplies
    • We need an accurate inventory of products and supplies before we order more
    • Move to give the Treasurer access to all Velleman/distributor accounts for more accurate bookkeeping

Vote taken, PASSED to suspend Velleman orders for now.

  • On Business Meeting for November 1st, 2011, we established a $250 fixed stock level of Velleman products
    • At that meeting, it was agreed upon that there would be a monthly inventory report, as of today, there hasn't been.
    • Scott is working on a clear audit of what we have bought, what has gone out, etc.
  • The supplies are not severely needed.

Treasurer wants a clear accounting of what we have in as supplies. Treasurer will make the order.
